Pastor Alan Stover

Pastor Alan is serving Kennonsburg Church as our intentional interim Pastor. He served as a Lead Pastor for over 20 years in Texas, Michigan, and Indiana before joining Interim Pastor Ministries (IPM). IPM and Pastor Alan seek to strengthen churches during pastoral transition for greater effectiveness. We are Pastor Alan’s third IPM assignment. He passionately serves as a minister of the Gospel preaching from the Bible, shepherding God’s people, leading the way to reach the lost in the community, and preparing for our next full-time Pastor.

Pastor Alan believes his other life experiences: nuclear power operations, higher education, horse and cattle ranching, foster parents, even hunting, and fishing have also helped prepare in leading the Kennonsburg Church. 

Alan married Pamela in 1981. They were high-school sweethearts. They have two daughters who are both happily married, and a total of five grandchildren. Pastor Alan and Pamela seek out every opportunity to live a missional life.
